Applying to us
Step 1
- Please read through all of the relevant information on this website, particularly our approach and eligibility criteria.
- If you wish to apply then please complete the eligibility quiz on our ‘Apply for funding‘ page. If you answer the questions successfully you will gain access to our online application form, which you will need to complete and submit. We recommend that you keep a record of your answers in a Word document as you go along just in case there are any technical glitches. Once submitted you should receive an automated email confirming safe receipt of the application.

Step 2
- Your application will undergo an initial assessment. If it is unsuccessful we will let you know, but unfortunately due to our limited resources we are unable to offer feedback to unsuccessful applicants at this stage.
- If your application is shortlisted then we will arrange a convenient time to visit to discuss it with you. We will ask for further information to be sent in ahead of this. These meetings are usually carried out by the Trust’s Director or Grants Manager, sometimes accompanied by a Trustee.

Step 3
- Your application will be considered by the Trustees at the next available grant-making meeting (usually in January or July).
- We will let you know their decision shortly after the meeting. Please note that not all applications that reach this stage are eventually successful and sometimes difficult decisions have to be made. We will offer feedback if you are unsuccessful at this stage.
All decisions made by the Trustees are final and we are unable to accept any appeals.
