Process / Timeline

21 November 2017
Please note only the Human Rights and Prison Reform funding streams are open to new applications.

30 May 2018
Please note that during Summer 2018 we are moving office and operating with a reduced staff team, so applications may take longer to be considered than usual

Before submitting an application to us please ensure you have read through:

- Information on our strategy
- Details of our current focus areas

In order to ensure you do not apply unnecessarily, please make sure you have read carefully through our criteria and guidelines. Applications that fall outside these will not be successful.

We do not have application deadlines and will accept completed applications throughout the year. However we have a thorough assessment process and our Trustees only consider grant requests twice a year, so please be aware that it may take up to 12 months to get a final decision on your application.

Our application form can be accessed here: Application form

- Once completed, your application will be acknowledged automatically and you will receive a copy of your application by email.

- If your application is not successful we will contact you to let you know. Unfortunately due to our limited resources we are unable to offer feedback to unsuccessful applicants at this stage.

- If we are interested in your work, we will contact you to request some further information.

- If your application is then shortlisted by our Trustees we will arrange a visit with you to discuss your work in more detail.

- Following this visit, an assessment report on your application will be presented to our Trustees, who will make a final funding decision.
