THE HARDMAN TRUST
The Hardman Trust Keith Bromley Awards are dedicated to the provision of trade tools and equipment or assistance in starting up a small business.
Award winners November 2004 included:
- Chris - £350 to buy trade tools - read citation
- Gary - £500 to buy electrician's tools - read citation
Three further award winners were unable to be present at the award ceremony. Their awards were presented at their prison.
'David' made a Keith Bromley Award
of £600 to cover the cost of driving lessons and
trade tools
'Stuart' made a Keith Bromley Award of £700 for
course related costs including the production of the
dissertation.
'David' made a Keith Bromley Award of £750 for
a tree surgery/chainsaw course.
Award winners June 2005 included:
- Patrick - £300 to buy horticultural tools - read citation
- James - £300 to buy brick layer's tools - read citation
- Darren - £300 to buy brick layer's tools - read citation
- Ken - £500 to buy heating and air conditioning trade tools - read citation
- James - £500 to buy

One other person was presented with an award:
"Toni" made a Kieth Bromley award of £500 to buy hairdressing tools.

THE BUTLER TRUST
The Keith Bromley Award for Education and Skills Training in prison 2007 goes to the Catering department at HMP High Down.
Described as ‘the best training provider in a Prison Service kitchen’ this highly motivated and dedicated team have trained 42 prisoners to NVQ level 2, two have become assessors, a unique achievement in Prison Service catering. Priosners organize quarterly gourmet lunches to which potential employers are invited. The team have deservedly won several external awards. The are dedicated to enabling prisoners to achieve qualifications and skills to support their employment on release, all this whilst providing 2,200 quality meals a day.
The Keith Bromley Award for Education and Skills Training in probation 2007 goes to the partnership formed between the Derbyshire Probation Community Punishment team and Derby College.
Ths project delivers horticultural skills in which tutors have embedded literacy and numeracy components throughout the teaching. It provides a real opportunity of employment in horticulture and building trades and plays an important role in making offenders feel part of their communities.
THE KOESTLER AWARD TRUST
The Koestler Award Trust Keith Bromley Award for Outstanding Nature Photography.
The 2007 Koestler Award Trust Keith Bromley Award for Outstanding Nature Photography was awarded to an offender from Worksop Probation Service and are shown in the slideshow above.
The 2006 Koestler Award Trust Keith Bromley Award for Outstanding Nature Photography was given to an entry from Kneesworth House for a series of photographs entitled "Pulse". The phtographs are illustrated above.
The 2005 Koestler Award Trust Keith Bromley Award for Outstanding Nature Photography was given to an entry from Llanarth Court Adult Secure Unit for a folder of photographs entitled "Life at our Lake". Some of the phtographs are illustrated above.
