Talib made a Keith Bromley Award of £500 for the purchase of builder's tools and clothing.
You came to the UK unable to write or speak English and left school with no qualifications and had still not mastered the language. Since being in prison you have learnt to speak English well and have changed your prospects by studying abroad range of subjects and achieving a number of qualifications. You won the Koestler award for plaster work. You are determined never to re-offend. One of your instructors has said that you have shown a great desire and willingness to learn and achieve all you can whilst employed in his workshop. Your standard of work is excellent and you continue to try to better yourself with every practical or theory assessment you undertake. You hope to be in open conditions soon. Congratulations.
