James (award winner, HMP Leyhill) made a Keith Bromley Award of £500 to cover the cost of plumbing trade tools.
You have moved your life forward very fast in the time you have been in prison. Reports are excellent from your tutors. You have been accepted at a local college to enrol on a C & G 6129 course in plumbing. You have written to plumbing companies and received offers of interviews for when you are released. You originally sought an award to pay for driving lessons and test so that you could set up a small plumbing business to support your family. The prison authorities are so impressed by your commitment and progress since arriving at your present prison that they have funded you to move on with this goal already. Instead you requested support in funding an initial tool kit. The interviewing assessor is very impressed by your commitment to reform and very strongly recommended you for an award. Congratulations.
